OU rules!!! We beat Texas 28-21! Whooo!!!!
We had a pretty fun weekend with all the football games and such. OU & LSU won, USC lost (yea) and A.J.'s team actually won their game! A.J. scored 4 buckets and 2 free-throws and earned a little under 50% of the teams total points. I was so happy the boys won a game - all the parents were. Saturday night we went over to a friends house for more football and to chat and let our kids play and Sunday we watched more football and then went to our son's game. Other than that we did not do much. We watched "Knocked Up" last night - it was very funny.
My favorite cousin's birthday is tomorrow and I have been teasing her about being 29, which in only one year away from being 30!!! (she did the same to me when I turned 30). It was funny when my Mother turned 40+ she never would admit she was in her 40's. She was not 42 but 30-12, etc... I think I may adopt that when I hit 40 (in about 8 years). Now my Mom is 56 and is Fab. And like her, I don't look my age. I get looks all the time from people who do not believe I am over 30. Ha! I know I will appreciate it later....and all that crap.

Well, I don't necessarily agree with this statement, I just thought it interesting. I, for one, have had my fair share of getting roses throughout the years but diamonds would trump them anyday in my book. This Emma Goldman probably recieved diamonds frequently from uncaring people and roses rarely from those she loved?? Or maybe she just had an affinity for gardens. How about both?
