Fall has found Texas

This morning was 46*....burrrr..... I did not want to get out of bed this morning b/c I could tell it would be chilly outside of my warm bedsheets. We actually turned on the heater at 68*, just in case, and I was happy when it popped on. So, when I returned from dropping off the kiddos at school I got out the down comforter and put it on the bed. Welcome Fall.

Today I have a bit of house cleaning to do. I have neglected it, opting for errands yesterday in the pouring down rain then taking Z.M. to his 7 yr ck up. Speaking of which, he is in fine health but when they did his hearing test, he did not completely pass on his right ear. When the Dr. looked in there he had an ear infection! He has not had one of those in years!! So, it's antibiotics for him for 10 days. Anyway.... I have bathrooms to see to, more laundry to finish, and dished to do, etc....

Thought of the day: "I'm extraordinarily patient provided I get my own way in the end." -Margaret Thatcher

Who knew Lady Thatcher had such wit. But isn't that usually the way with all of us?
